- 0.5 Classification: This classification is for athletes with the most significant impairments, including limited arm and hand function. These athletes often require specialized equipment to compete effectively.

- Zachary (Zak) Madell, Okotoks, Alberta, is the only athlete participating in wheelchair rugby at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
