Sitting volleyball is a fast-paced team sport played by athletes with physical impairments affecting their lower limbs. The game is similar to standing volleyball, but players compete while seated on the floor, which adds a unique challenge to movement and coordination.
Classification:
- Class 1 Classification: This classification is for athletes with more severe impairments, such as bilateral amputations above the knee or severe muscle weakness. These athletes have limited ability to move and balance in the seated position.
